About the program
The "SNB Rowad" program prepares distinguished graduates in various disciplines to work in the National Bank of Saudi Arabia, and career progression in leadership positions; The program was designed in cooperation with strategic partners to offer a unique program, to prepare future leaders during a 12-month professional educational journey!
And because the competencies attracted to this program are distinguished and academically superior, the program invests in their individual strengths through a practical and applied professional educational journey, using advanced methods and tools that provide them with the knowledge, skills and competencies required of tomorrow's banking leaders!
The graduate of the “Ruwad Al-Ahly” program, a banker with a comprehensive practical understanding of the banking industry, a role model and a high level of awareness of his national role, possesses the tools that enable him to influence, develop and overcome contemporary and increasing challenges, and has the ability to grow in various departments within the bank and play leadership roles And a bigger strategy in the future!
Training Program Summary
In collaboration with the Bank's partners at Harvard and Kaplan, the program offers a comprehensive learning experience covering the following topics:
1- Comprehensive retail and commercial banking products and banking strategies.
2- Treasury, Finance, Investment and Business Administration.
3- Digital banking, data science and digital transformation.
4- Compliance with banking laws, ethics and conduct of the profession.
5- Managing relationships, focusing on customer service and improving customer experience.
6- Operational Excellence, Governance and Risk Management.
7- Leadership programs, negotiation skills, influence, communication, problem solving and decision-making.
8- Experiential learning, learning by doing, simulation, training, guidance, self-learning, and conducting studies and research.

1- First stage:
Acceptance of applications for admission and selection of candidates.
2- The second stage:
- Assigning the selected trainees.
3- The third stage:
Interactive training for 10 months.
4- Fourth stage:
- Practical application and graduation project for two months.
5- The fifth stage:
Graduation and joining one of the bank's departments.
6- The last stage:
Joining competency development programs to follow the growth journey within the bank.
Submission conditions
The applicant must be a Saudi national.
The applicant must be a recent graduate.
Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in (administrative, financial, business, technology or engineering) from a local or international university accredited by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Must not be a full-time and/or part-time employee with any entity during the programme.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
Willing to move to Riyadh during the duration of the program (12 months).
Successfully pass the interviews, tests and assessments administered by the National National Bank.
